Interactive Presentation for ALL people involved in life relationships: Marriages, families, grandkids, co-workers, friends and neighbors....

You will discover ways to better express love and appreciation to your family members and in ALL relationships (including at work!).

Monday September 24 (part 1 - summary here), & October 22 (part 2), 2018
7-9 PM
Mary, Mother of the Church

Between busy schedules and long days, expressing love and appreciation can fall by the wayside. We forget to compliment, to give gifts “just because,” to simply listen. The things that say “I love you” or "I appreciate you" seem to either not get said or not get through.

Can you relate to some of these examples:

  • Paul spent three hours building a bookshelf for Marcie. All she wanted was 10 minutes to talk.
  • Carol bought Dylan a brand new set of golf clubs. He wondered why she didn’t sign the birthday card.
  • Ryan gave Jennifer a hug and a kiss. She frowned at the pile of dirty dishes.
  • Sally received a $100 bonus. All she wanted was a moment of recognition for her efforts.

All too often, people fail to express their love and appreciation—they try, but they’re speaking different languages. This can lead to frustration, resentment, hurt feelings, and a strained relationship. Fortunately, saying—and hearing—“I love you,” or "I appreciate you" doesn’t have to be that hard.

Come learn how to express love and appreciation in your spouse’s, family member's, or other relationship's language, based on  Dr. Gary Chapman's 5 Love Language teachings. This will be an interactive session with practical examples and discussions to apply in your life immediately!
