During the COVID-19 pandemic, many people are experiencing financial hardship. More people are using food banks and, at the same time, donations are down.
On Sunday, May 3, we are having a food drive at Mary, Mother in support of Winnipeg Harvest. Our parishioners are generous, and I know you will be very supportive of this event.
In keeping with physical distancing and public health regulations, we will have Winnipeg Harvest bins by our front doors. Walk, bike, or drive over and drop off your donations between the hours of 10:00 am and 4:00pm.
If you cannot leave your house but still want to donate food to this project, please call the office or send us an email. Then, leave your food outside your front door, and we will get a volunteer to pick it up on Sunday, May 3.
We know we can't have a Mass on Sunday, but we would love to see the faces of our parishioners as they drop off food!
