As summer starts to take hold across Canada there’s a new sense of hope that’s arising. Restrictions are lifting and it seems we’re heading back toward a more normal way of life. I hope you’ll have the opportunity in the coming weeks and months to reconnect with family and friends in person.
With summer comes the time when children are home from school and in our ever increasingly online world it’s important to consider how to stay connected as a family. We’ve just released a new video series that will equip you to think through how to do this well; it’s called Connecting As a Family in a Tech-Absorbed World. This series features author and youth culture expert Jonathan McKee and you can sign up for this free video series today here.
I also want to let you know about two new free downloads that will provide some wholesome entertainment for your children or grandchildren. The first one is an Adventures in Odyssey-themed activity booklet featuring a word search, sudoku, a maze and more. You can sign up for this free PDF here. The second one is our World Explorers Summer Adventure Kit, which will help you and your children or grandchildren learn about different countries and their unique cultures. You can sign up for this free activity kit here.
I hope you and your family have a wonderful summer and that you are able to make some great memories together. As always Focus on the Family Canada is here for you and your family, so if we can help you in any way please don’t hesitate to reach out to our team.
Warmest regards,
Melanie Hoeppner Senior Vice-President Focus on the Family Canada
