My dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

I would like to give thanks to the Lord whole-heartedly for we were able to celebrate the paschal mystery both in-person and virtually.

I want to express my special gratitude to all volunteers and ministers who spent their time, gifts, and talents preparing for this wonderful celebration. I acknowledge that many of you worked behind the scene. Much preparation, cleaning-up, and rehearsal were done with your loving care and generosity. I really admired your joy that manifested on your face and in your heart when you were serving the parish with humility. Your joy is so contagious; it becomes a great support for the parish, and personally for me, your new parish priest. Some of you have shared with me that your voluntary work for the church allows you to grow in sense of belonging and responsibility. This is very true, as your presence means so much to the parish. We are in the same family. MMOC is your family and your home.

I pray that joy and peace of the Risen Lord abide in your hearts and in your family always.
