Lots of fun was enjoyed by all in attendance...

Over 80 adults enjoyed a night of fun with fellow volunteer parishioners.

The night started off with a fun ice breaker "people bingo" which encouraged all attendees to mingle getting to know each other as they found answers to their bingo sheet.

Then Fr. Kevin thanked all the volunteers for the many hours of service throughout the year, and the wonderful parish we have because of these volunteer efforts.

Appetizers and beverages were available throughout the evening, as well as games to play such as ping pong, darts, bean bag toss, sequence, and crib.

And then the hall really started to "rock" with fun as the karaoke started at 9. Fr. Kevin and Parish Council chairperson Shawnda (each with a side kick!)started off the singing with the duet "Summer Nights". Next a group came up to sing "We Will Rock You", which got everyone in the hall stomping and clapping to beat. And the night continued with song and group after group getting up to sing. And the best part, if people weren't up singing, they were up dancing. Unbelievable - EVERYBODY participated and danced including the congo line, line dancing, salsa and more. It was amazing!!

Several parishioners commented on how much fun the night was, with one parishioner stating "I've been to many parish volunteer appreciation events, and this one is by far the best!"

And the youth volunteer appreciation event was tons of fun too as the 20+ kids were teamed up for an Amazing Race challenge. Activities included bean bag toss, ping pong, scavenger hunt, word search, puzzles, blind folded pudding eating, find/unscramble the word, and more! And of course, food and beverages.

We hope to see many people out next year at our encore events!

Thanks again to all the volunteers at MMOC, whether you were able to make it out to the events or not!

Fr. Kevin, and the rest of the leadership team!
